Congratulations to all students who participated in this year’s PTA Reflections Contest. The PTA would like to thank Cindy Edmonds, RES Art Teacher, Jennifer Stern, Reflections Committee Chair, and committee members Beth Fowler, Joy Wise, JoD Hosken, Beth Baldwin, Leigh Ann Pruitt, Theresa Green and Beth Hungate. This contest takes a tremendous amount of time and effort to organize, and we truly appreciate the hard work of Mrs. Edmonds, Mrs. Stern and all the wonderful committee members!

Welcome back for another great year at Randolph Elementary School! We hope you found the PTA information packets sent home this week to be a helpful, easier way to send home all the PTA flyers and forms that come out at the beginning of the school year. These large white envelopes went home with each family, not each student, to save on paper.
We have plans for many exciting activities this school year, starting with our fall fundraiser, Roadrunners on the Run. 100% of the proceeds from this fun-filled event will go directly to our school. This year, we are fundraising to rebuild the paved basketball court that was removed during the construction of the multi-purpose room. This is a big goal, but one that we know our students will really enjoy.
We encourage all families to help support the education of our children by volunteering when you can and joining the PTA. We have fun incentives planned for the students and teachers whose classrooms reach 100% parent participation during our membership drive. If you haven’t done so already, fill out a membership form and send it in today!
We look forward to working with each of you. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our PTA board members with questions and don’t forget to check the blog for news and updates.

School may be out, but many teachers and parents are hard at work making our courtyard classroom come to life! Check out Mrs. Gates’s blog for details and photos!
It’s the 2nd Battle for the Trophy, last year the Green Team won!
C’mon everybody, let’s have some fun!
Please join us for the RES Field Day – 2nd Annual Battle for the Roadrunner Trophy – on Friday, April 27! We need your help with games. Grade levels will be competing together, so you can sign up to help out when your child is competing. Please note that you will need to stay at your assigned spot for your entire time slot; however, you will be able to see your child participate. If you would prefer to stay with your child for the entire time they participate, please sign up for only a 60-minute time slot.
Click here to volunteer on Sign-Up Genius.
Please contact Leigh Paulin at 784-8798 with any questions.
Thanks for your support of this fun-filled event!
